What is collected
H.I.V.E. stores the text of messages sent to it, the reply pairs it derives from them, and word-transition statistics. It also caches public encyclopaedia summaries it looks up. It does not create accounts, does not use cookies for tracking, and does not run analytics.
Contributions are shared and permanent
There is one shared memory. Anything you teach it can be repeated to any other visitor, at any time, out of context. Your chat window is local to your tab, but the lessons drawn from it are not private. Do not type anything you would not publish.
Personal data fail-safe
Messages are scanned before anything is stored. Phone numbers, street addresses, email addresses, national ID and social security numbers, bank, card and routing numbers, passwords, API keys, dates of birth, passport numbers and GPS coordinates are refused: the turn is answered but nothing from it is learned. Automated detection is not perfect, so please avoid sending personal details at all.
Removal requests
Use the report control under any reply to flag it for deletion, or email the address below describing the content. Reported material is reviewed and can be deleted from the shared memory permanently.
